Important Notice: These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement. By submitting a case report or evaluation, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
Section 01

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing the CFS PLLC website at cfspllc.com, or by submitting a fraud report, case evaluation, or any enquiry through our website, you ("you", "the client", or "the user") agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"), our Privacy Policy, and any additional agreements or engagement letters you sign with us.

These Terms apply to:

If you are using our services on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

Section 02

Services Description

CFS Partners LLC ("CFS PLLC", "we", "us") provides the following services to individuals and businesses affected by fraud:

2.1 Free Case Evaluation

The free case evaluation is a preliminary assessment only. It does not constitute legal advice, does not create an attorney-client relationship, and does not obligate CFS PLLC to take your case. An attorney-client relationship is only formed when both parties have executed a written engagement agreement.

2.2 Scope of Services

Our services are limited to civil recovery, documentation support, and regulatory reporting. We do not provide criminal defence services, family law, immigration law, or any legal services outside the scope of fraud recovery and investigation.

Jurisdiction: Our services are primarily available to clients in the United States and Canada. We may assist international clients on a case-by-case basis. Services may vary by jurisdiction.
Section 03

Fee Structure

3.1 Success-Based Fees

CFS Partners LLC operates on a success-based fee model. This means:

3.2 Fee Agreement

The exact fee percentage will be clearly stated in a written engagement agreement signed by both parties before any billable work begins. The percentage varies based on:

3.3 Disbursements

Any third-party costs incurred on your behalf (court filing fees, expert witness fees, international legal coordination fees) will be communicated to you in advance and require your approval. These disbursements are separate from our success fee.

3.4 No Advance Fee

CFS PLLC will never ask you to pay an upfront fee as a condition of beginning work on your case. Any request for upfront payment is not authorised by CFS Partners LLC and should be reported to us immediately at contact@cfspllc.com.

Warning: If you receive any communication claiming to be from CFS PLLC requesting upfront fees, wire transfers, or cryptocurrency payments before a signed engagement agreement, do not pay. Contact us immediately to verify.
Section 04

No Guarantee of Recovery

CFS Partners LLC provides professional fraud investigation and legal support services with skill, diligence, and good faith. However, we expressly make no guarantee, warranty, or representation that:

Recovery outcomes depend on many external factors beyond our control, including the cooperation of financial institutions and exchanges, the jurisdiction in which the fraud occurred, the quality and availability of evidence, and the actions of third parties.

We will always provide you with an honest assessment of your case and will not accept cases where we do not believe a reasonable recovery pathway exists. Past results in similar cases do not guarantee the same outcome in your case.

Section 05

Client Obligations

By engaging our services, you agree to the following obligations:

5.1 Accurate Information

You agree to provide accurate, truthful, and complete information when submitting a case report or engaging our services. Providing false, misleading, or incomplete information may result in termination of our engagement and may expose you to legal liability.

5.2 Evidence Preservation

You agree to:

5.3 No Further Payments to Fraudsters

You agree not to send any further payments to any party involved in the fraud you have reported. Making additional payments to the same fraudsters — including so-called "recovery fees" or "tax payments" demanded by the original scammers — will seriously jeopardise your case.

5.4 Cooperation

You agree to cooperate fully and promptly with our team, respond to communications within a reasonable timeframe, and attend any required consultations or proceedings.

5.5 Lawful Use

You confirm that you are submitting a genuine fraud report and that you are using our services for lawful purposes only. You may not use our services to make false allegations, harass individuals, or for any other improper purpose.

Section 06

Confidentiality

6.1 Our Obligations

CFS PLLC treats all client information with strict confidentiality. All case details, personal information, financial records, and communications are protected under attorney-client privilege and our professional obligations. We will not disclose your information to any third party except as described in our Privacy Policy or as required by law.

6.2 Your Obligations

You agree to keep confidential any information, strategies, methodologies, or investigative techniques shared with you by CFS PLLC during the course of our engagement. You agree not to publish, share, or disclose such information without our prior written consent.

6.3 Anonymised Case Studies

We may use anonymised, non-identifying information from completed cases for educational, marketing, or training purposes. No personally identifiable information will be used without your explicit written consent.

Section 07

Intellectual Property

All content on the CFS PLLC website — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, investigation reports, legal templates, blog posts, and software — is the exclusive intellectual property of CFS Partners LLC and is protected by United States copyright law, international treaties, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not:

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use our website for personal, non-commercial purposes only.

Section 08

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, CFS Partners LLC, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and attorneys shall not be liable for:

Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising out of or related to our services shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to CFS PLLC in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Section 09

Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use our website or services for any of the following purposes:

Violation of these prohibitions may result in immediate termination of services, reporting to law enforcement, and legal action.

Section 10

Third-Party Links & Services

Our website may contain links to third-party websites, resources, or services (including blockchain analytics platforms, regulatory agency websites, and legal databases). These links are provided for your information and convenience only.

CFS PLLC has no control over the content, privacy practices, or availability of any third-party websites. We are not responsible for any loss or damage that may arise from your use of any third-party service. We encourage you to review the privacy policies and terms of service of any third-party websites you visit.

Section 11

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless CFS Partners LLC and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and attorneys from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:

Section 12

Termination

12.1 Termination by CFS PLLC

We reserve the right to refuse, suspend, or terminate our services to any individual or entity at any time, without notice, in our sole discretion — including where we reasonably believe:

12.2 Termination by You

You may terminate your engagement with us at any time by written notice. Termination does not affect any fees owed for work already performed or any recoveries already made on your behalf.

12.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, we will return your documentation and transfer your case file to you. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature survive termination — including confidentiality, intellectual property, limitation of liability, and governing law — will continue to apply.

Section 13

Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

13.1 Governing Law

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Colorado, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

13.2 Dispute Resolution

We encourage you to contact us in the first instance to resolve any dispute informally. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally within 30 days:

13.3 Class Action Waiver

To the extent permitted by law, you waive any right to bring claims against CFS PLLC as a plaintiff or class member in any class action, collective action, or representative proceeding.

13.4 Jurisdiction

Notwithstanding the arbitration clause, you agree that any injunctive or equitable relief sought by either party may be brought in the courts of Denver, Colorado, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.

Section 14

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the "Last Updated" date on this page and, where appropriate, notifying active clients by email. Your continued use of our website or services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

We recommend bookmarking this page and reviewing it periodically. The most current version of these Terms always supersedes all prior versions.
